This is a very important slow transit that will not be exact until February of 2026, and will not be over until 2028. What this one basically indicates is a forecast of heavy rain on our fantasy/delusion parade.
You know those daring dreams of freedom and adventure we’ve been having since Neptune came into Aries at the end of March? Guess what, now reality hits with this Saturn transit, and we find out how much of that is simply unrealistic and not going to happen in “real life”, at least not anytime soon. But we’ll also find out that some of it passes Saturn’s reality test and actually comes true. (We should keep such successes in mind through the months ahead.)
But that’s not all. This coming July, Neptune will retrograde back towards Pisces, where it had been for 14 years until this past spring, and so will Saturn. That means that from late October through January 2026, we’ll be back temporarily in that state of suspension in the unknown where we were before — with Saturn, the cosmic “downer”. We may have to revisit some old delusion or deal with a new one, even as we see some of our former beliefs dead or dying. Answers will come, but there’s a delay and no apparent way out. So guess what, many of us could easily panic and start to imagine that reality is far worse than it actually is.
We must not allow that “weather” to frighten us, no matter how disillusioning it may seem. The tide will begin to turn in December when Neptune and Saturn go direct, at which time there may be some significant event.
Mid-February looks like a major turning point in the entire saga and is likely to be marked with a memorable event. The conjunction will be exact, and things won’t get any worse than they are (or seem to be) at that time. But it’s significant that both planets will be out of confining Pisces and free again in Aries. Though we won’t be able to adjust quickly to the change, technically we’ll be out of the dark then and on our way to recovery for real, not to see the like of it again for the next 150 years.
So there’s probably bad news coming during the fall and winter that will turn out to be all or mostly fake. The real bad news is that the Saturn-Neptune conjunction will still be in orb for a couple of years, which is how long it will take for the heavy feeling of disillusionment to lift. I’m thinking that we’ll probably be dealing with a sad and ugly aftermath of some improbable ‘nightmares’ that do turn out to be true and regrettable. We’ll need to have compassion for everyone, including ourselves.
The good news is that unless we give in to fear or despair, we’ll finally be rid of some extremely dangerous and destructive delusions that have threatened our very existence. And some very good things will probably happen in the meantime. We can figure all this out and look forward to a truly fresh start, as Saturn and Neptune slowly separate from this ‘rainy’ conjunction and leave us in peace.

Life may give us a cheerful pep talk along with a “reward” that we’re hesitant to accept. The problem is that, though it may be well meant and might normally be welcome, it’s unrelated to the responsibilities we already have, and it interferes with them. We may really want it and find it too tempting to resist, or it might be imposed on us against our will. If so, we have to find a way to simplify or restructure our duties, so that we won’t be overwhelmed by everything we have to do.

Families, especially those with young children, will be helped with their needs and encouraged to grow. This dangerous transit is notorious for combinations of pie-in-the-sky delusions and foolhardy overconfidence. We tend to lack common sense, and our judgement is terrible. We might as well make life-changing decisions or agreements when we’re three sheets to the wind and unable to walk straight as to make them during this transit. If a serious matter requiring sound judgement comes up now, the thing to do is delay action on it until the transit is over, and for now watch a movie or something instead.
