The forecast for this transit is heavy rain on our fantasy/delusion parade, as Saturn subjects our dreams to a sober reality test. Realistic dreams can actually come true now, in which case Neptune adds a touch of glamor to ordinary reality.
On the other hand, unrealistic dreams and false beliefs are pretty much shut down now. A temporary grounding of imagination tends to interfere with our visualization of improvement over the status quo, so that an unwanted situation can seem more hopeless than it actually is. We may feel trapped in disillusionment and gloom. That’s not a permanent condition, but it may seem to be one during this transit.
If we’re feeling discouraged now, we need to reassess our life and the beliefs and dreams that have been prompting our ambitions. This is a time for serious contemplation. What have we been trying to accomplish, anyway? Maybe somehow we could be making better use of our time.

This one gives us tremendous power to do what we have to do, no matter how we may feel about our duties. In the past we may have been too overwhelmed or unequipped to adapt to Pluto’s revelations, but that is not now the case. There is a supportive structure in place within which we can work effectively, without distractions or waste. We have an unusual degree of self-discipline, endurance, clarity, focus, and power at our disposal. All we need do is make an effort to use what we have. This is a great opportunity to work harder than we thought we could and be more productive than we’ve been in years.

Oppositions mean confrontations, and this one is about facing truth. About six months ago we went through the purifying white light of a Sun-Pluto conjunction. About three months later at the Sun-Pluto square, we made important choices based on that experience. For the past three months, we’ve been acting on those choices. Now, at the Sun-Pluto opposition, we see where those efforts have led. We’ve had time to gain perspective we didn’t have before. Is our situation really what we thought it was? How well are we aligned with the truth? The answers suggest what lies ahead on our path.

The creative thinking that Uranus stimulates can produce many good, sound results along with an unlimited variety of bad and crazy ones. We may have heard rumors of inventions that are not necessarily real, while suspecting the existence of real inventions that no one ever mentions.
We can expect to have less of that sort of thing to wonder about with this Uranus-Pluto trine, which heralds an easy connection between the energy of creativity and that of revelation and truth. We’ll probably see new inventions that are not crazy, but are very real and functioning well. Among the implications is the possibility that as we become more aware of technological innovations, they become more aware of us. What new challenges could all that awareness pose?

This is a frustrating influence that can be exacerbated by any fears, resentments, or inhibitions in our response to it. We can waste a lot of energy on internal conflicts around other people’s judgments and expectations. We don’t need that. We may be delayed now, but if we’re capable of doing what we’re trying to do, we’ll find a way to do it.

We’re ‘driving’ straight into a thick ‘fog’ that can slow or halt our progress. Either we can’t see what’s in front of us, or we can’t trust what we think we see. It might be okay, or it might be a dangerous illusion. If we don’t make a mistake, we could get lost and waste time and energy going in circles. We’d be wise to pause our ambitions during this transit and resume the action later, when we can see clearly what we’re doing.
Note: In 2025 this aspect occurs within an elaborate configuration of supportive planets that is likely to modify its effect. Most notably, Mars is in a Grand Trine with outer planets Pluto and Uranus, which could serve to guide Mars’s power in spite of his blindness. In other words, this time what we can’t see may not matter.
