About Elixir

Elixir is a celebration of mystical metaphors, with an emphasis on astrology. It offers monthly astrological forecasts and weekly posts around the theme of the month, including informative articles, music, puzzles, and poetry.

New Approaches to Old Traditions

Articles deal with topics from Western Esoteric Tradition, including astrology, tarot, and other related topics such as Joseph Campbell’s monomyth. Some of them suggest non-traditional perspectives or shed light on connections between systems.

Celebration

Readers are also invited to experience the theme of the month through such offerings as original poetry, links to music of various genres, and puzzles. Some of the longer poems tell stories based on traditional fairy tales or ancient mythology.

Please Note: Everything here is intended for everyone. Titles such as “Music for Capricorn” or “Puzzle for Pisces” refer to the current month, not to people with a particular Sun sign.

The Author

I am primarily an astrologer, with 50+ years of study and experience in astrology and a variety of related esoteric subjects. Since February 2020 I’ve been writing about these subjects on Quora.
